Welcome to the online home of the Blowin' Smoke BBQ Team! For over ten years, we have competed in the annual World's Championship BBQ Contest at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. In addition, we have competed in the Harris County BBQ Cook-off, Hold 'em & Hit 'em BBQ Cookoff, Buc-Days in Corpus Christi, Austin County BBQ Cook-off, and many more.

Our awards include Grand Champion in Brisket (HLSR, 2010), Overall Grand Champion (Buc-Days, 2008), Reserve Grand Champion (Bee-Cookin' BBQ Cookoff in Beeville, 2012), 2nd place in Brisket (Buc-Days, 2007 and 2008), 4th place in Chicken (Buc-Days, 2008), 5th place in Chicken (Buc-Days, 2007), most unique pit (Buc-Days), Recycling Champion (HLSR, 2000-2011), Cleanest Booth (HLSR, 2003), and several others.

Our goal is to provide a festive party for our underwriters and their guests, with great BBQ, outstanding live music and Texas-sized hospitality.

The 2013 World's Championship BBQ Contest at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo will be held Thursday, February 21st to Saturday, February 23rd, 2012.
